Ha, I was correct Ainsley can walk!!  I was on the phone with Johnna the other day and happened to tell her about Ainsley and Braeden LOVING the drawer in the kitchen with the wash clothes.  Ainsley raids it, they put them on their heads, she chews on them, and the other day I found about six or more hiding in Braeden's closet.  This has been a daily occurrence and therefore has moved from cute to annoying.  Johnna was laughing and reminded me that this is funny and I need to write it down so I don't forget.

Here are some other funny things I don't want to forget...

Braeden has been saying "It scares my ears" if there is a loud noise or yelling

Ainsley sounds like she is singing happy birthday a lot, today in the car I joined in and she put her hand up and said no????!!!  She is sassy!

Grocery stores are CRAZY!  I either have to use the super carts with the car on the front or let Braeden walk which = HE MUST TOUCH EVERYTHING!

They both love to get cozy...blankets and pillows

Braeden still loves a good elbow

Ainsley rubs our ears or her own for comfort.  Sometimes she checks out the elbow to see what the fuss is all about

Here they are getting cozy!

I don't know if I have ever laughed, and cried so hard in my life, but I feel so lucky to be blessed with all the chaos.

It's Official...

I am not good at blogging. Have been meaning to update so many times. I fail. Lots of things have been happening. My purpose of writing this blog was to keep a log of fun things to remember about the kids since they are growing up so quickly. I am sitting here watching Braeden shake Ainsley's hand and tell her "pleased meet you". He is also bouncing around her playing hide and seek as she sits in her highchair. It is quite hilarious. Braeden is a constant source of laughter these days.

Nap time - you never know what you are going to get when Braeden wakes up from a nap. Some days it is crying and cranky(much like mommy). On special occasions he has taken off his clothes and is standing in nothing but a diaper. My favorite two are first the day he shouted HOORAY with one arm in the air, then of coarse when he was bent over making kissy lips and saying kisss...KISSS. Too cute!

Ainsley thinks her brother is hilarious and laughs at him a lot. She has started eating solids. So far we have tried acorn squash, yams, banana, apple and avacado. She is so sweet, calm and patient. She is really starting to sit unassisted and while she doesn't have any desire she is able to roll front to back and back to front.

As I type Braeden is running around in circles. Time for bed! Will try to post some pictures later. Hey maybe by the next time I write on my blog Ainsley will be walking? Hopefully I can get better about it.

Spokane to Pullman and Back

Went to Spokane this past weekend which was fun, stressful, relaxing and tiring all rolled into one. Packing up the mini with two kids and two dogs can test the relationship that is for sure. We stayed at Johnna's for a change because Mom and Dad were watching Nathan, Emma and Sophia while Johnna, John and Sophie went to visit Mychaela down at U of M. As we were unpacking Braeden fell down the stairs into the basement which was horrible. Luckily he came away without any major damage, but the look on his face as he bounced around like a rag doll is permanently imbedded in my brain. I have been having flashbacks and almost crying when I do ever since. Went to the Coug game down in Pullman on Saturday which was also a production, but glad we did it. The first half of the game was awesome. Second half went to Stanford. Braeden fell asleep for a good portion of the game and Ainsley was an angel!!!! Toughest part was getting from the car to the stadium. Braeden sat down in the middle of the street. I found out they have family bathrooms in Martin Stadium. All in all a much different experience from the last time we were in Pullman for a game. Sunday we went to Greenbluff and Braeden rode a horse for the first time. Got some apples, apple pie, apple cidar and a pumpkin. Lots of fun. Then we went to Mark and Sheryl's for dinner with the almost everyone. Nice to catch up and crazy of coarse trying to keep Braeden from destroying their home. Once again rearranging home decor so Braeden doesn't destory it. Feels like that will never end, even though I know it will. Sunday night got a chance to catch up with Johnna which was great. Monday hung out, packed up and headed out of town. Only thing we forgot was the boppy which Johnna kindly brought to us at Fred Meyer. It was a bit of a whirlwind and now we are home. Cory, Heather and Hudson just left not too long ago. Came over for dinner which was a blast. So fun to see the boys interacting more and more as they get older. Oh the trouble they are going to cause! I will try to post pictures from it all tomorrow...we'll see if I get to that!

Allen family get together at the cabin

Nothing like a relaxing weekend at the cabin! We had a great time spending the weekend in Ronald with lots of family and good food.
Joyce holding Ainsley which was a treat for us both!
The boys playing on Grandpa and Grandma's new toy!
Braeden had so much fun running around. Minutes before this picture he was running after Oscar yelling "Oscar". If only I had caught it on video as the was he was saying Oscar was priceless!
Pretending to drive. Again such a fun weekend! We will have to get up there more often. Looking forward to some trips to Priest in the future as well!

Here comes trouble...

Just another day on the job.
This was the only way I was able to finishe the dishes. Allowing Braeden to clear out the two bottom shelves of the pantry. It did force me to take inventory and organize which is a good thing! Very entertaining as well!

Have I ever mentioned the kid likes to eat? This is after a good meal of chili.
Seriouly he makes me laugh and pull my hair out every day now. Starting to say "what's this" so there is no turning back. Loves to give sissy kisses which is so cute. I am so excited to watch their relationship grow. Having them so close together really throws it in your face just how fast they grow the first year and a half. To go from crying and eating to walking, talking, crying and eating is pretty amazing. It was a fun week and as I write that I am reminded how time flies. Thought I would have so much time being a stay at home mom, but the days and weeks fly by just as fast if not more so. Can't believe it is fall already. I LOVE fall and have lots of fun projects planned to keep the kiddos busy!
